Khlong Hae Floating Market

Hello, I am back again! :)

This time I gonna blog about trip to Khlong Hae Floating Market, Hatyai Floating Market.
It is located at Khlong Hae, about 15-20minutes of ride from Hatyai.
It is one of the attractive tourism spots in Hatyai.
It only opens from Friday to Sunday, from 3pm to 9pm.

Floating market is a market where Thai local people trade their businesses through waterways transportation.
Khlong Hae Floating Market is slightly different with Bangkok Floating market.
In Hatyai floating market, we do not need to sit the so-called 'sampans', the 'sampans' already lined up along the walkway.

It was pretty crowded in the evening

When the 'sampans' was in port, sellers tied up the 'sampans'

Sellers do not get up from their boat or 'sampans' in Malay language.
They will pass the foods to customers in a long-handled baskets.
Customers just need to place their money inside the baskets, take out the foods from basket and enjoy it.

It sells variety of foods and drinks, and the price is reasonable.
Most of the foods and drinks are priced at not more than 50 bahts.
If converting to Ringgit Malaysia, it is around less than RM5 per foods or drinks.

Colourful jelly which is known as 'Luk Chup' in Thai

Chinese dimsum

It reminds me of Fear Factor
I dare not to try this, hahaha

Sellers will immediately cook the foods on boat once customers place an order.
Hence, the foods is freshly cooked and served with hot.

One thing so unique about this floating market is,
drinks are served in a clay cup, & you can bring it home after purchased.
It is available in different designs and sizes.
Smaller sizes selling at around 20 or 30 bahts,
while bigger sizes are at around 30 or 40 bahts
*the price is not expensive at all.... :D*
You can choose whatever designs that you like before you order your drinks.

Fried foods

Grilled corn

Sushi

Rubbish bins are well-placed along the walkway in order for tourists to throw their rubbish.

Fried potato with cheese powder

Colourful jellies, but I think they put a lot of colouring

Fried Quail Eggs :)
My favorite foods in this floating market
I can't resist to have 2 'baskets' of it
*high cholesterol, omg*

Coconut ice cream

The clap cups which I brought home :)
Hello Kitty design is so cute, although I not a big fans of Kitty

It was a great experience to me as I never been there before.
That's all for now. I will be back soon.
Till then. ♥

Samila Beach, Songkhla, Thailand

From this post onward, I am going to write a lot of throwback posts which happened few years ago.
I feel it should be parts of the memories of the blog which I did not manage to blog about it previously.
So, I've decided to write throwback posts for those memorable yet meaningful events or days in my life.

Today, I am going to write a blog post about my trip to Hatyai, Thailand with Mr. Bf and his family. ♥
I will separate it as few posts as there are lots of photos captured and to be shared.

Alright, let's start our journey ~~ vroom vroom~~
'Sa-wa-dee-kap' ~~

1st destination : Songkhla, Thailand

We went to Songkhla, the provincial capital of Songkhla Province by van.
It took approximately 30 minutes travel from Hatyai to Songkhla.
This place is a great place for battery recharge point as it has some beautiful beaches, green gardens and some historical centers.

Samila Beach is one of the famous beaches in Songkhla.
When we reached there, the weather was very hot.
I love stepping on the white sands, it is kind of clean compared to Penang's beaches.
It has beautiful scenery, blue sky and white sands. It makes me feel relaxed :)

me
 Mr. Bf
1 + 1 = 2 ♥
We forgot to bring our sunglasses, that's why Mr. Bf can barely opened his eyes, hahaha

There is a statue of mermaid which is the symbol of Songkhla.
It then becomes the most attractive tourism spots in Songkhla.
Everyone would like to take a photo with this famous attractive statue.
It is free to take a picture with it, but you have to queue for your turn. :)

Ke Xin & me

East of the mermaid statue is cat and rat sculptures.
There is a story about the cat and rat, but, somehow I unable to recall the story.
There are some stalls along the roadside selling some souvenirs, handcraft and flowers.

That's all for now. I will be back soon.

Charles & Keith Blue Marble Purse

Taa-daa! I'm here again! :)

Today, I gonna blog about this lil surprise from BF's family during my 25th birthday celebration.
BF's sis went to Singapore and bought me this eye-catching pretty blue purse for me as my birthday present. Thanks you very much, xoxo. *flying kiss*

Charles & Keith is a fashion brand specializing in ladies's shoes, bags and accessories. It was originated from Singapore as it was founded by brothers Charles and Keith Wong in 1996 who were from Singapore.
I love their design which is very classic, colorful, chic and trendy!  It is easy to match with my outfits.

C&K has many outlets in Malaysia and Penang, but, the price is definitely more pricey compared to the retail price in Singapore outlets. Hence, if anyone of you planning to visit to Singapore, remember to drop by their shops or Changi Airport to have a look.

I've owned 2 C&K bags, 1 is bowling bag while another 1 is shoulder bag. Both still in good conditions after few years, so, I guess it is okay to own C&K bags or purse if you have limited budgets to go for the luxurious ones.

This is my first time using their purse and I love this blue colour. And, it is my first time using a sharp colour purse. Previously I was using either black or grey colour purse only. Okay, enough for 'grandma story', lets the pictures speaks.

Surprise from Singapore :)
*Ps: my rilakkuma is not from Singapore*

Taa-daa.. Isn't it very pretty? :D

It comes with a push-look closure.
I love the marble prints, very special, not mainstream.
It is rare to see bags or purse with this marble arts designs.
I can say that, bf's sis has a good taste of fashion :D

It comes with slots for cards and of course a zip pocket for coins or money note.
But, usually, I will use another small coin bag to put coins.
Because, I do not want to make my purse to become heavier,
It is one of my ways to take good care of my purse, :)

Charles & Keith name printed on the gold zip

Blue x beige colour, a pretty outstanding combination of colour

That's all for this post. I will be back soon.

Till Then ♥

Japan Natural Foot Pad Sheet Review

Today, I would like to blog about my review of Japan Natural Foot Pad Sheet. I've heard of foot detox pad and wanted to have a try on it as it will benefits users from reducing body toxins while sleeping. I bought this foot pad at Daiso Japan which available at many shopping malls in Penang, it only costs me RM5. Watsons, Guardian and some pharmacies shops are selling similar types of food pad sheets.

At first, I just want to have a try and did not expect the outcome to be good. But surprisingly, the outcome is good and it amazed me. It is advisable to stick it on feet for at least 6 hours for better results. I stick it on my feet before I went to sleep and removed it the next day when I woke up.

There were a lot of different brands of foot pad sheet selling at Daiso. I bought the rose flavor, and there are 2 foot pads in 1 pack.

This is what I've found from the Internet about foot pad detox sheet.
" Foot patches were created in Japan as a method of body detoxification, according to The Japan Times Online. The patches are worn on the bottom of your feet and are intended to rid your body of toxic chemicals or poisons when you are sleeping. Herbs and plant extracts, as well as wood vinegar and the mineral tourmaline, are common ingredients in the patches. Supporters of the products claim the patches lower your blood pressure, improve sleep, help you lose weight and reduce your likelihood for depression and other health risks. "

At the back of the packaging, as we can see, it is full of Japanese words. The manufacturer has provided English explanation as well so that other consumers from worldwide can try this product.

There is a short description with pictures to show consumers steps by steps on how to stick these pads on the bottom of feet. It actually very easy to use / stick on. Although I do not understand Japanese language, I can still refer to the pictures for the steps. Hence, it is not a problem for those who are not understand Japanese language.

Top photo = After it being worn at the bottom of my feet. The pink colour pack is the so-called herbal                             medicine. It smells like Chinese herbal.

Bottom photo = After removed it. My leg is yellowish and a lil bit sticky.

There is a product sheet provided by manufacturer. It is like wet tissue, I used it to clean my feet after I removed the pads as my legs are sticky. If we do not want to use the provided product sheet, we can use our own wet tissue.

Oh My God~!!!
Look at the results. It looks so disgusting.
It means that there is lots of toxins inside my body and I never realize about it.
And, the next day when I woke up, I feel relaxed and my legs are not tired anymore.
It is worth to buy as it is not expensive and it actually helps us to get rid of harmful toxic from our body.
It is easy to use, we just need to stick it on our feet before we go to bed.

I will definitely re-purchase it again and I'm planning to use it once a week to have better outcome and keep my body healthy. :)

 Till then. ♥

I'm Back Again

Hmmm..time flies...It's been 2 years ago since I last logged in here. And now, I'm back again. I've decided to continue writing my blog, although I might not be able to update it frequently, but still, I will try my best to update it as much as possible.

At first, I thought of creating a new blog, but somehow I found this blog is full of memories, and should not be abandoned forever. Hence, I've made my decision, to continue blogging here. :)

How to say?? Blogspot, is a 'trend', it used to be a place for bloggers to express their feelings, opinions, share their happy memories with friends. But now, the trend has changed. People just sharing pictures on instagram, facebook and twitter most of the times. Those who continue blogging are probably food bloggers, beauty bloggers or lifestyle bloggers.

Welcome back, the owner.

Till then.
