Cameron Highland Trip Day 1 : Lavender Garden

Mr. Bf and I went to Cameron Highlands last year during his birthday for our 5th Anniversary and his birthday celebration as well. :) It was our first trip ever together, I mean as a couple trip! We decided to go for a local and budget trip, so, we had our sweet little weekend getaway to this great place.

Cameron Highlands, located in the north-western corner of Pahang state in Malaysia. It becomes a popular tourist destination in recent years. It is a great vacation for those who wish to escape from the hot weather, as the weather in Cameron Highlands is pretty cool all year around.

We drove from Penang to Cameron Highlands, it took us approximately 2.5 hours to reach there. It is advisable to visit to Cameron Highlands during off-peak school holidays or during weekdays, as it can be very crowded during school holidays, public holidays and weekends.

The main attraction that makes me want to visit to Cameron Highlands, is Lavender Garden. It is opened since year 2013, it is located just before the Tringkap Town, when tourists travel from Simpang Pulai direction. It is easy to be recognized, as you will see cars park along the roadside, due to the limited parking spaces. The entrance fee for Lavender Garden is RM5 per adults and RM3 per kids. It opens daily, from 9am to 6pm.

We first headed to the cafe located inside Lavender Garden to have our breakfast before we start explore this beautiful place.

Time to explore this beautiful place ~~ :)

There is a section inside this garden where tourists can pick strawberries and daisies by themselves. Beautiful and colorful daisies potted row by row neatly to be picked by tourists. Tourists can self-pick daisies for RM2 per stalk or 6 for RM10 if I am not mistaken.

Sefie wih beautiful Daisy :)

Thanks to a friendly guy who took this photo for us.
But, the ladies sat behind us just spoiled this beautiful photo. >.<

There is a place known as Love Lock, where couples can hang locks and love notes on the rocks for relationship goals.

I want H-A-P-P-I-N-E-S-S :D

I also want R-O-M-A-N-T-I-C *I know I very greedy, haha*

There is a shop beside the love locks which selling different flavor of ice-creams. We bought a Lavender flavor ice cream for RM 5.50, but it did not taste very yummy for me.

Sea of colourful blooming flowers

There is a gift shop selling some lavender products such as lavender pot, lavender flavour body shampoo and lotion, car perfume, key chains, bears and some handcrafted gifts for souvenirs. The price is not really cheap, as we know, it is mainly to attract visitors to buy.

The only thing that I bought in Lavender Garden was this pair of couple dolls. It looks so lovey dovey. It actually caught my first sight when I bought lavender ice-cream.

Overall, I love the ambiance of Lavender Garden, it is so beautiful with colourful flowers potted at the center of garden.

That's all for now. I will be back soon.
                                                                                                     Till then.
