Cameron Highlands Trip Day 1 : Big Red Strawberry Farm

Let's continue the journey to Big Red strawberry Farm @ Cameron Highlands.
It also known as Taman Agro Tourism, and located at Brinchang town area right beside the Cactus Valley.
I has been craving for their signature strawberry ice-cream since I first tried it 5 years back.
Could not found exactly the same taste of ice-cream in Penang.
So, we decided to go for it. :)

The cafe serves variety of desserts and drinks which made of strawberries, such as strawberry waffle, strawberry fried ice-cream, strawberry sundae, strawberry chocolate fondue, milkshake, tea, muffin, scones with strawberry jam and so on.
Tourists can pick their own fresh strawberries in the farm and take it away. :)

We ordered 1 strawberry milkshake, 1 strawberry sundae and 1 strawberry waffle.

Let's take a nearer look of the strawberry sundae.
The down part is strawberries cut into pieces, filled with vanilla cream and strawberry syrup, and topped with a vanilla flavor ice-cream.
and, it just costs RM6++ for such a big cup, it is way too good for such a delicious dessert.

Selfie with the giant strawberry sundae :)

*craving for it right now again* :(

After filled our stomach with delicious desserts, we walked around to explore this beautiful place.
There are plenty of strawberries, lettuces, sunflowers, orchids, cactus and etc in the farm.

Huge beautiful sunflowers :)

I strongly recommend that it is a must to try out their strawberry sundae if there is a chance to visit to this strawberry farm.

Cameron Highlands Trip Day 1 : Laviino Cafe / Blueberry Earth House Cafe

Let's continue with my day 1 trip to Cameron Highlands.

We went to a cafe named Laviino Cafe or known as Blueberry Earth House cafe for our brunch. We've accidentally found this cafe, as this cafe was not part of my to-visit-list initially. It is located at Kea farm, along the access route to Boh Tea Plantation. It can be reached from a left junction shortly from the entrance.

It is a newly opened cafe in Cameron Highlands, and due to its unique architecture design, a mudhouse exterior look, it actually attracts a lot of visitors to dine in there, including me as well, haha.

When I first stepped into this cafe, I felt like I was in the hobbit's house, hehe, with the small windows and round door. Cafe owner used different size and colour of glass bottles to decorate the wall, to make it looks more colorful and attractive, indeed, it is a great idea. Don't you feel it looks like polka dots? hahaha

Interior design of the cafe is basically with warm neutral colour, like brownish colour. We explored the cafe, and I was amazed by their design and creativity.

Me :)

Mr. Bf

I've checked on the Internet, and saw people actually suggested to try their 'Smart Toast' and ice-cream cheese cake. Smart toast tastes like waffle to me, a bread filled by vegetables with barbecue sauce. It is okay for me only, not really impress me.

We ordered their signature ice-cream cheese cake, I ordered Blueberry flavor. Before it is being served, it actually stored inside a freezer and surprisingly it did not melt easily after being served, as most of the cheese cake will melt easily, like within 10 minutes. This is why I love their cheese cake so much. I would definitely pay a visit again when I go to Cameron Highland next time. It is a must to try their ice-cream cheese cake.

I feel it is a nice place to sit down and rest for hours, enjoy the breeze and view up there. Definitely worth to pay a visit to this cafe. I miss their ice-cream cake so much~!! :'(

Cameron Highland Trip Day 1 : Lavender Garden

Mr. Bf and I went to Cameron Highlands last year during his birthday for our 5th Anniversary and his birthday celebration as well. :) It was our first trip ever together, I mean as a couple trip! We decided to go for a local and budget trip, so, we had our sweet little weekend getaway to this great place.

Cameron Highlands, located in the north-western corner of Pahang state in Malaysia. It becomes a popular tourist destination in recent years. It is a great vacation for those who wish to escape from the hot weather, as the weather in Cameron Highlands is pretty cool all year around.

We drove from Penang to Cameron Highlands, it took us approximately 2.5 hours to reach there. It is advisable to visit to Cameron Highlands during off-peak school holidays or during weekdays, as it can be very crowded during school holidays, public holidays and weekends.

The main attraction that makes me want to visit to Cameron Highlands, is Lavender Garden. It is opened since year 2013, it is located just before the Tringkap Town, when tourists travel from Simpang Pulai direction. It is easy to be recognized, as you will see cars park along the roadside, due to the limited parking spaces. The entrance fee for Lavender Garden is RM5 per adults and RM3 per kids. It opens daily, from 9am to 6pm.

We first headed to the cafe located inside Lavender Garden to have our breakfast before we start explore this beautiful place.

Time to explore this beautiful place ~~ :)

There is a section inside this garden where tourists can pick strawberries and daisies by themselves. Beautiful and colorful daisies potted row by row neatly to be picked by tourists. Tourists can self-pick daisies for RM2 per stalk or 6 for RM10 if I am not mistaken.

Sefie wih beautiful Daisy :)

Thanks to a friendly guy who took this photo for us.
But, the ladies sat behind us just spoiled this beautiful photo. >.<

There is a place known as Love Lock, where couples can hang locks and love notes on the rocks for relationship goals.

I want H-A-P-P-I-N-E-S-S :D

I also want R-O-M-A-N-T-I-C *I know I very greedy, haha*

There is a shop beside the love locks which selling different flavor of ice-creams. We bought a Lavender flavor ice cream for RM 5.50, but it did not taste very yummy for me.

Sea of colourful blooming flowers

There is a gift shop selling some lavender products such as lavender pot, lavender flavour body shampoo and lotion, car perfume, key chains, bears and some handcrafted gifts for souvenirs. The price is not really cheap, as we know, it is mainly to attract visitors to buy.

The only thing that I bought in Lavender Garden was this pair of couple dolls. It looks so lovey dovey. It actually caught my first sight when I bought lavender ice-cream.

Overall, I love the ambiance of Lavender Garden, it is so beautiful with colourful flowers potted at the center of garden.

That's all for now. I will be back soon.
